The Darkest Hour Mission Bug

At the end of Praetorian Vanessa DeVore's mission The Darkest Hour, you're supposed to fight Master Midnight and his Midnight Masters.  However, Master Midnight was completely untargetable.  I could do nothing to him, only Vanessa DeVore could.  Thankfully, Vanessa DeVore was able to defeat him on her own while I held off the Midnight Masters and Talons of Vengeance.  I'm assuming that this is a bug, as Vanessa kept calling for my aid and there's no mention of anything about this on the wiki.

I don't know if it would work, but targeting Vanessa and attacking her target through her might be a workaround.
