how to collapse expanded element of Assignment House window?

I have an ongoing problem with my Assignment House window.  When I (almost always accidentally) click a bottom element, it expands from one line to a multipane/multiline element.  Please see image below.

 

How do I get it to collapse to a single line again.  Clicking it won't collapse it (even though it expanded it), the [Reset] button at the top only affects the top pane, closing and re-opening AH window doesn't fix it.  So how does one collapse the damn thing?

Only solution I have found is to expand a different one.  Would love some close or shrink functionality.

Adding another item and taking it back out is the only way I know of to do that.

When that bothers me, I usually just go expand the bottom item in the list and "live" with it.
