Lately, I decided I was going to start building some sets. Below is what I came up with in the hero designer. This character is currently at level 40 and needs to be respec'd. I wanted to get some opinions from some of the veteran enhancers. I am not looking to max out, but more or less take advantage of procs, soft cap defense, raise resistance, and keep regeneration and endurance manageable. I am open to opinions, as I am not necessarily tied to using any specific powers etc. I have thought about dropping Serpent's reach, but didn't really have something to put in it's place. Maybe maneuvers? I have played this build on the beta server and it is very fun. I probably could use a bit more damage, but figured I could look into incarnates for that. Let me know your thoughts. Hopestar Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Alright, I took a look at your build and it definitely can be improved. Don't drop Serpent's Reach, it's the best Single Target attack you have; Same Damage Per Activation as Sky Splitter, but you get it earlier and it takes little more than half the time to activate. The attack chain you'll be going for is Guarded Spin -> Precise Strike -> Assassin's Staff -> Serpent's Reach, keep looping through that on single targets, while using your 3 stacks on Eye of the Storm for groups. I included Body Mastery as it's what you had and you were worried about endurance, well with this now you can't possibly drain your endurance faster than gaining it, you're just dripping endurance. If you eventually get to a point you are willing to manage endurance with blues or just taking a slight break between mobs, I'd replace Body Mastery with Mu Mastery to get a Snipe and more AoE damage. Your Melee/Ranged/AoE Defenses are beyond capped, ranged being the lowest, and your Smashing and Lethal resist will be capped at 70% HP or less. I made a couple changes to fit my play style and am pretty satisfied with the outcome. I got rid of Hasten because I felt like I was getting enough recharge from the IO sets. I also can't stand that Hasten forces a redraw. In getting rid of that, I picked up Focused Accuracy, as I was seeing a lot of misses when fighting 54s (Behemoths/Malta/Carnies in test). I also swapped the smashing damage chance on Serpent's to Assassin's Mark, which is one of my favorite IOs. It hits quite a few times when utilizing Eye of the Storm. Now my attack chain is what you stated of Guarded Spin -> Precise Strike -> Assassin's Staff -> Serpent's Reach with minimal downtime waiting for Guarded, but in most cases having build up to stick in there from Assassin's Mark.
