Hearing clickies

I haven't been able to hear clickies from the start. Generally I'm ok with that because clickies are often easy to find. But today I really missed not hearing clickies. Checked googel first and found a post on Reddit of someone having the same problem. sadly though no solution was offered there. So what you guys think what I could do to hear clickies?
