Sentinel_of_Freedom Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 When I launch the game through Tequila, it says "validating" then immediately crashes. I have tried "Run as administrator" but it does the same. Played regularly before update with no issues. Tried turning off firewall, just in case, but still crashes. HELP! Sentinel_of_Freedom
Korbian Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Go into the CoH folder and find the file Tequila.xml. Delete it and then try running Tequila again. It will replace the file you deleted and hopefully solve your issue. If not we might have to get some more details.
Cryos Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 I had the same problem - I was running fine even last night until it started downloading something this morning. My system bluescreened during the update and then Tequila consistently started crashing upon startup. Running as administrator and deleting the .xml also did not fix it. Downloading a new copy of Tequila and running that also did not fix...still crashes immediately upon startup. At this moment, my only resolution was to drop the new Tequila into a new folder and start downloading the game again. Since the same copy won't launch in my old folder but will in the empty folder, I suspect there's other bad data in the old folder that needs to be deleted. Here's the Windows crash data from mine: Description: Stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: tequila.exe Problem Signature 02: 1.0.0.20 Problem Signature 03: 5797a26a Problem Signature 04: System.Xml Problem Signature 05: 2.0.0.0 Problem Signature 06: 5a154e05 Problem Signature 07: 6f2 Problem Signature 08: 27 Problem Signature 09: System.Xml.XmlException OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt

ElvisPrime Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I'm having the same issue. My home PC is experiencing this, my computer at work is not having this issue
GrumpyOldBadger Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Also, this just started in the last 24-36 hours, I was playing fine a few days ago.
Adclif Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Having this issue as well even after deleting everything and attempting to redownload it , a few seconds after starting tequila the program crashes.
Delerious Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Not sure what could be causing this. I have the creamsoda launcher and I am using the homecoming manifest with no problems.
GrumpyOldBadger Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Not sure what could be causing this. I have the creamsoda launcher and I am using the homecoming manifest with no problems. That is different from the Tequila one I take it?

Adclif Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Looks like it resolved itself, didn't change anything, just didn't play my computer for about 8 hours.
