Penguin Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I'd like to suggest what I believe would be a major improvement to Stone Armor: "NoFX" options for the powers. Most notably: please allow us to simply turn off Granite Armor's model change. 3 3
Arbegla Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 I could see reducing the Granite Armor fx, but removing it completely seems odd. I definitely want to have other options to color it, like be lava, or coralax, or a quartz crystal.

I think this is what makes changing it so hard. Need to be able to choose between different “models” that we get changed into. The No Fx option feels odd for this, because a) then it would be hard to tell if you had it active or not and b) the idea is that you become a huge rock and thus explains your crazy high resistance, otherwise your just Invulnerability. HOWEVER, that being said, it’s current state does make the cosmetics of the rest of the set kind of useless. So a No Fx option would at least let you able to see your other powers if you are going for a certain look. Maybe instead of No Fx though it simply changes your skin to rock, lava, or crystal. So like if your toon had regular skin before it is now replaced with the skin you chose for the power. This would give it a more subtle but still on theme effect. No Fx is an ideal solution for at least some Stone Armor users. I'm not sure exactly how things on the back-end work, but it does seem like one of the easiest changes to implement for the power, as well. Edit: This isn't to say that more options wouldn't be welcome, far from it. There's all sorts of other models and options that would be cool to see for it.
