Fire/Plant Hover Blaster - Comments and Suggestions Please

So I've decided that I prefer the hover blaster playstyle but I want to inflict maximum damage and have the chance to solo higher difficulty content.  I've read that Fire/Plant can be a great combo but there really aren't many builds out there so I thought I'd take a stab.

 

Skipped Fire Breath and the melee attacks from plant.  Decided to go the Ranged soft capped route with some decent resistances.  Please feel free to rip it apart, etc.  Go at it.

Is the idea just to hit 45% ranged and hover blast? If thats the case you have a few pieces slotted you could swap out like rectified reticles and unbreakable guards. 6th slot in snipe from manticore set does 0 for you. Strangler is a surprisingly good source of dps so i'd dump the lockdown set in it for more interesting pieces. Haven't played the combo but maybe something a bit like this?
