G'day all,

 

I just built a Fire/Time/Dark and looking for anyone to help me optimise a little more.

 

Its a general build, I mostly do random teaming, Itrial stuff (will once I get incarnates unlocked), taskforces etc.

Its working fine, I had to do a little tweak as I was having end issues exemping so I added a little extra end recovery in there, with my Alpha I can't imagine any end issues.


Any feedback appreciated!

It looks solid to me. There are a couple changes I'd make but they're really only down to personal taste:

 

- remove a slot from Distortion Field, add the Lockdown chance for +hold proc. IMO that proc is what makes this power useful.

- Chrono Shift is a strong buff but not really worth 5 slots. I would drop 2, frankenslot it with 3 endmod/recharge IOs, and put those slots in Weave and Maneuvers for an 18% accuracy bonus instead.

- drop Vengeance. This build has pretty insane recharge already, I don't think the +7.5% is doing as much for you as Aim would. You could also use that slot to take Soul Mastery instead and pick up Power Boost (I don't think Dark Consumption is useful enough relative to its cooldown).

- this depends on how you feel about your end use once you're at full build, but I would maybe take Musculature over Agility. It's only netting you ~0.4% end/sec, less than 2 seconds of recharge to Inferno, and ~3% ranged defense, but you're over the ranged softcap without it.

Power Boost or Power Build Up is almost mandatory with /Time. Use it before Farsight and you've soft-capped your defense. 

 

Not sure why you're waiting until 47 to get Slowed Response. That's your big -res/-def debuff. Would take that at 35.

Full disclosure I'm bad at math and can't wrap my head around damage formulas. But, my understanding is that ToHit and Accuracy work together in a way that both are relevant no matter how much of the other you have. I usually aim for at least +30% global accuracy from set bonuses which might be too much but I really hate missing. If you find that you are still hitting often enough without the extra 18% I suggested then those slots could definitely find use elsewhere.

Cheers Uun, I really don't like the smaller range on Soul drain with power boost so I tend to avoid it, I'm hoping clarion radial will fill the void for me most of the time. Slowed response wise I was trying to get soul drain 3 levels earlier which is probably not that big of a deal so good feedback, I've shuffled that in at 35.

 

Oh I totally see rookie mistake on my part re accuracy, I was seeing the numbers with all the buildup procs on didn't realise! I had wondered why I was missing in game sometimes!
 

Few tweaks, I've kept the chorno shift set just because I am a recharge whore :P.
