OldManMercy Posted June 15 Posted June 15 I thoroughly enjoyed both movies. The only real beef I have with them is actually the ending of the second one. Spoiler I mean, why be so faithful to the source material for literally both movies only to split Chani and Paul up at the end? They were married in the books. Chani dies giving birth to the twins. There at the end of the second one, she looks like she wants to kill him.

The event you name in the hidden element actually happens in the sequel book, Dune: Messiah, though I get what you're saying.
