Sonic Thrust uses wrong KB animations?

This probably isn't a bug but seems to be an inconsistency nonetheless.  Blaster Manipulation's Sonic Thrust doesn't look to be using the same knockback animation nearly every other knockback does.  The affected target flies off for sure but they don't ragdoll like every other knockback would cause.  When they stop falling, they also perform the "arm spring to feet" animation players use whenever they get KB'd instead of the "slowing getting back on their feet" animation.  Is this intended? If so, is it necessary so that the power doesn't break something besides faces?

Currently playing on Indomitable as @Zork Nemesis; was a Protector native on live.
