Create, Mapserver & Lost Characters Oh My!

Hey guys,

 

Great to be back roaming the City and Iles after 7 years; cannot appreciate all the hard work and effort with all those involved enough!

 

Created a character (Watchmaker) about 10 minutes ago, then lose connection to the server which is normal. However this time the character has vanished off my list and I cannot re-create due to it already existing. . .

 

Has anyone else had this problem? I've seen briefly on either here or reddit that some people have had mysterious char's appear on there accounts; could this be the case?

 

Finally is there any possibility of rectifying this by tracing the character back to the original account from which it was created?

 

Or it could be that its not that complicated and its just a temporary bug. . .

You should see the character on your select screen. It will probably say it has been offline 7000+ days. Click it.. then in the upper right hand corner click the DELETE CHARACTER icon... delete it and remake it.

Burnt Toast is correct- I had the same issue yesterday and after logging back in my missing character was listed, but not playable.

 

Deleting and re-making him fixed the issue.
