How is Ninja Blade regarded?

Hello,

 

So I want to get a Stalker up and running, and one of the I'm considering a Ninja Blade primary for this.  Two questions: 1) this really is just Katana with slight modifications for use as a Stalker, right? Nothing egregiously different between the two?  2) Any glaring issues with Ninja Blade I ought to be aware of?  I never got around to Katana/NB back in the day so I'm hoping to fix that here.  I haven't figured which secondary I'll use but I'll come up with something, I'm sure.  :)

I like NB a lot. The Stalker version lost Confront/Lotus Drops for Placate/Assassin's Blade. Other than that, it's pretty much the same.

 

NB is all lethal damage, the most resisted damage type in the game, but can slot the Achilles' Heel -res proc to make up for it.

 

Divine Avalanche's +lethal/melee def can help a lot of secondaries. I recall a former player doing the Rikti Challenge on a Kat/Regen Scrapper. NB/Regen Stalker could probably have similar success.
