smnolimits41 Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 I'm thinking of making a Doctor Who character, it doesn't necessarily need to be the doctor himself. I'm obviously looking at making a Time Manipulation defender. My favourite companion was Rose Tyler. What secondary would you guys suggest to pair with TM ?? I don't have enough influence to slot with IO's, but i do have enough for SO's. How would you slot out TM ??

Agorazium Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 Time IMO is a jack of all trades, master of none set. It pairs well with anything but does best with a set which has a secondary effect to layer with Time's buffs/debuffs. Sonic would be good since Slowed Response's -res while great for groups is underwhelming on single targets, for example. Dark is my personal favorite since the -tohit stacks very nicely with Farsight's +defense and reduces your need to take Power Boost, and Dark also offers a few controls to supplement Time Stop/Distortion Field.
Psylenz0511 Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 It's not the doctor, but I found Ice Blast to mesh VERY well with the time slows and holds. Hold a boss just for giggles and profit.
