seebs Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I feel I should point out that a term being in an agreement does not mean that the term is valid/true/enforceable/whatever. I suspect that if ncsoft had tried to actually claim they had copyright interest in player-created characters, they would have been laughed out of court, because that contract made no sense. Companies like to put in very aggressive boilerplate, it hasn't historically worked well when they've tried to use it. 1
