Leagues Need a System to Replace a League Leader

During ToT leagues in particular, I have witnessed on several occasions where the League Leader will go AFK without appointing a replacement. Members leave and others request an invite and the Leader is nowhere to be found. The team leads do what they can but they are unable to replace the Leader through any means short of breaking the entire League and reforming which is tedious to say the least.

 

IMHO any Leader should be able to be replaced with another leader somehow.

Just break off and start a new league.

On a related note, league leaders need to be able to reassign individual team leads as well.  As for the league leader themselves behaving badly, I don't think any sort of reassignment or voting option by other league members would go over well.  If they go AFK for extended periods of time or are otherwise unattentive, then just leave...

There's been a few attempts to address this and problems have occurred...

 

There does need to be a better method of league management.

 

Probably something flexible enough for the ad-hoc nature of the invasion leagues vs the more static Trial leagues.

I wonder if you could give the league leader the option to designate "league deputies", up to 1 per team, who could perform the same duties as them, (save for affecting the league leader themselves).
