BovineAvenger
Hey folks, I can't find an obvious way to do this, and the only answer I've had on Discord is to import into my own private server, which isn't quite what I want... I still have the .xml files from Sentinel listing my characters, costumes and builds from the old Sentinel tools. I've been able to extract and import the costumes (as well as put back my AE arc from Live) but I can't see an easy way to see how the character was built except going through it as a text file and trying to read it... Neither MIDs nor Pine's Hero Designer can load it, and I can't find another tool that might. I just want to be able to see the layout of the slots, powers, enhancements etc without trying to run my won server, does anyone know of a way please? Thank moo! Zep
I wish I still had all my old costumes. Lucky you! I changed computers too many times. Oh well. Be nice to get access to the old char files just to load on my own private server I am thinking. ** Asus TUF x670E Gaming, Ryzen 7950x, AIO Corsair H150i Elite, TridentZ 192GB DDR5 6400, Sapphire 7900XTX, 48" 4K Samsung 3d & 56" 4k UHD, NVME Sabrent Rocket 2TB, MP600 Pro 8tb, MP700 2 TB. srmalloy
I posted a reply in the thread My Old Account Revived that describes how to use Titan SentIcon to extract the costumes from a Sentinel+ file, and how to view it in Internet Explorer and decode the power picks and slotting (unfortunately, because CoH doesn't save when you applied extra slots to powers, you'll have to guess at those), turning them back into a tabulation that you can use to make a build in Mid's/Pine's or just to throw together on Justin for testing.
