Hi all,

I created my first toon as Elizabeth Bathory to get @Elizabeth Bathory as global. This worked fine.. but I did it over a tablet from vacation. So I couldnt really play. When I got home it changed to @eliza1 .

Now you have to understand that on Union I made a big name for myself.. The forum and the discord I have that name too. But something happened that took the global from me. Might have been the fact I was offline for another week after creation. But I really miss it. On top of that I made a typo renaming my Global. most likely because I was slightly frustrated... It is now @Bathory Erzsebeth where it should have been @Bathory Erzsebet. Still if there is any way to get my main global back? I noticed globals are also crossing over all the servers :(

Thanks,

Bathory Erzsebet (Elizabeth Bathory)

It's really weird that they essentially generic'd your global.  I know the naming policy went into effect, maybe, but any action there shouldn't have taken place until after 30 days of inactivity.  I also would have thought that global names were exempted from that rule, but I don't think they actually said one way or the other.  You might try to hit up a GM on Discord and ask them.  Or possibly message the person who has the global now, and ask them if they had to ask to have the name released.

As far as global handles crossing servers, they always have.  The point of the global handle is specifically so that you can communicate across servers in chat channels and stuff.

That is weird.  Have you put in a support ticket?  They might be able to figure out what happened, and more importantly, help you get the Global you want...
