This Discord, over those years, has grown and changed to be what it is today. We have gone through different iterations of rules, channels, channel formats, and more - landing right where we are now. We've played home to thousands of discussions, emoji contests, and have even hosted a reoccurring RP Group Recruitment Fair. We don't plan to stop there any time soon either! We are, of course, looking for those who would be willing to step up to the plate in community events and more. We're looking to start making the rest of Year Four and forward better overall, but we'd love to see you join us for it. If you'd like to help us in creating events OR in running the Discord? Crystal Dragon Posted September 12 Share Posted September 12 Alright, so coming up in the New Year of 2025, I will be stepping down as part of the admin team of City of Roleplay officially. I will still, however, remain part of the community as I will be shifting my priority focus on maintaining Welcome Wagon's and the RP Workshops project with the help of Dimi1, and Mcspazz to further education of RP methods and styles, as well as covering the positives and negatives of roleplaying within the community. This decision has been dwelling on my mind for the last few months as I know I had not been very active in the CoRP community as an admin staff member, and I also know that the community tends to self moderate quite well without admin guidance a lot of the time. The few times I've had to step in to deal with a situation was usually resolved fairly quickly with a temporary mute, and very rarely a kick or ban was issued. That's not to say I am quitting the community itself however, I have had a lot drop into my lap over the last year that I'm still going over with my therapist and dealing with on a personal basis, a lot of issues that cropped up in my life offline that I had been trying to maintain some semblance of calm in the storm of chaos. So my time, suddenly had become very valuable and spread very thin between the many hats I've had to wear over the last few years. I will still be a regular log in on the discord community, that is a certainty, but taking on as a mediator, or even as an admin team member at this time is beyond my scale of ability to commit to in the coming year. So, with a heavy heart, I regret to inform the community that I will no longer be part of the CoRP staff team following the coming year. Kill skuls, I'll still be around, following New Years 2025, just not at the role capacity that I have held over the last few years anymore. 1 Roleplaying mentor volunteer, and mentorship contributor. Hey now, not all of us are inactive 😉 Everlasting RP is different in purpose from CoRP but we certainly attempt to keep active, the rest of it is on y'all to keep groups like CoRP, EvRP and other communities talking and active.
