It kind of blows my mind that failures like this are being turned out by the very company that green-lighted the Miles Morales animation trilogy.    It makes me feel like they stumbled into success with the first of that trilogy, and had just enough working little grey cells to say "keep going".

Confirmed that this ended theatrical run with $59m, making it the worst-performing of the Sony Spideyverse movies, and the only one not to beat its baseline budget.

Remembering that once the theatres and distros take their cut, the studio gets maybe a third of the gross take, that's a $90m flat loss, plus marketing budget. Yikes.
