I asked in help where to find the customization.  They said go look in the tailor, it will say customize near the phantom army.

I nothing that says customize my phantom army except at the top and it wont allow me to change the look of my PA the only options that are appear from the drop down are listed in the second screen shot. I found the third thing and don't know what that is, other than it lists game powers and reminds me of AE but nothing is loadable from the third picture. Is my screen missing something, on how to customize the look of Phantom Army?

The other look is a mirror of what your character costume is on cast.  (No Prismatice Aether costumes though)

So what you can do is have a costume slot with your desired Phantom Look, change to that on cast, then change your look back to desired, but the army keeps the look from when cast.

Is there a way to set a macro or keybind that would allow me to summon them when in one costume and immediately change to a different default costume?

I believe so.   the command "cc X" will change your costume to that. So something like "cc 5$$<insert power exec location PA>$$cc 0" though that will require you to hit the key a few times iirc.   (Someone else with actual macro knowledge needed 😉 )

I tried something like this for my Illusion character; it’s a lot. Between having to resummon PA and the costume change lockout timer, I either kept forgetting or stopped trying. Very hopefully curious about your results!

For my Illusion Controller I created a Costume that I liked for them then used Supergroup mode to differentiate my Toons Colors from PA since Phantom Mirror only looks at the base costume file and doesn't incorporate the Supergroup Variants on them, gives you a little room to be creative with no hassle.
