Looking for Necro/Dark Feedback

I haven't updated my Necro/Dark since the recent changes and figured that he might need a bit more of an overhaul than just swapping a few slots around. I've done some light research and tried my best off of what seemed to make the most sense, but I'm relatively new at trying to make something more optimal.

(I can't seem to do a textbox export from my version of Mids'. How do folks do that?)

Edit: Mids' export apparently sucks now. Attaching the build file instead.

The build could use the Shield Wall unique for +5% res to all damage types, and Reactive Defense unique for +3%/scaling +res. Range is alright in Fearsome Stare but really not necessary. Drop those for SW and RD uniques.

Imo, Shadow Fall is worth slotting with some +dam res since there is a lot of energy damage in incarnate trials. It will help get N/T res to cap.

Can probably get +75% S/L res if Box/Kick and Tough are taken. I would probably sacrifice Soul Tentacles and Oppressive Gloom to pick them up. Slot the purple set into Howling Twilight and use it frequently for an AoE stun. I went the Scorpion Shield route as I wanted to be softcap to S/L/E with one Darkest Night activation.

Certain unique IOs work on pets when slotted in their upgrades.

Enchant Undead: Impervious Skin +regen applies to pets.

Dark Empowerment: Miracle, Numina's, Regenerative Tissue and Panacea.

Dark Empowerment is a pretty good to slot up. Heal IOs improve the pet's self-heal. Heal IOs also raise the pet's max HP which in turn, improves their regen. Endurance improves the pet's end usage.

I don't feel the MM attacks are worth adding procs to. Their chances to proc are low and the build may not have the endurance to spam them frequently.

A lot of people will disagree but don't bother slotting the Lich for -tohit debuffs. The MM has Darkest Night and Fearsome Stare. All the pets have -tohit with a lot of their attacks. Fluffy also has -tohit as well. Slot the Lich like normal for acc and dam, Cloud Senses proc and mules for pet unique IOs. Or with some acc/mez and dam/mez HOs to improve it's hold/immob/fear.

Regardless I think your build will perform well. Alot of stuff I mentioned is just my own personal preference or playstyle.

Just adding an “agree strongly” here. Also, Musculature Radial adds ToHit debuff to all three pets as well as further boosting that attribute in nearly every power of the /dark secondary.

The Splintered Soul Project: (Nyght****) 21 and counting (18 max).

DSorrow: “Give a man a build export and you feed him for a day, teach him to build and he's fed for a lifetime.

Good call on the Fearsome Stare range being better suited as +Res Uniques. I kinda forgot about those.

Could do, but I like the Tentacles to stack up with Lich and Fluffy's, and Opp. Gloom is a personal preference. I don't mind taking the hit to sturdiness. The zombies are there to take the hits for me, right? Your suggestion is probably the optimal choice though and I do appreciate the call out.

How much does the +Regen do? Is it worth giving up some Res or would I need to find a slot to move? The build feels pretty slot constrained as it is.

Do the Recovery IOs work for me too in Empowerment? I'd lose them if I exemp below 21 in that case right?

Would you just slot them like a normal attack then? The damage drops precipitously according to Mids' if I do. It's showing Gloom and Life Drain having about a 50% chance per proc.
