Please critique my EM/ELA Brute

Hi all.

 

First of all, let me mention that this build is a meshed together version of three builds I looked over online, taking a bit from each one. So it's not completely mine to claim as sole creator, but I did pull all the threads together for it. 🙂

 

The build does very well, at least I think so. I have no End issues, she hits pretty darn hard, and can take hits well, for the most part. 

 

The places she falters in is that she could use better Resistances to Negative, and the dreaded Toxic. (And maybe even a push for Fire/Cold as well). I've tried to find spots to switch up things, drop something here to boost something there, and I am striking out. I think my brain is rebelling over changing anything as she really does do pretty well. I just want to know if she can actually be better.

 

So, I am opening the build up to critiques and criticisms, please. But be kind, this is the first time I've actually put anything I can mostly claim as my own up here.

• In Lightning Field, switch 5x Superior Avalanche for 6x Armageddon. You'll pick up 6% T/P resist.
• Rather than chasing defense with the 6x Gaussian's in BU, redeploy those slots. Add 1 slot to Lightning Field and 3 slots to Grounded.
• In Grounded, 4x Gladiator's Armor for 3.75% T/P resist (and some additional KB protection).
• In Total Focus, switch Touch of Death for Hecatomb for 6% F/C/T/P resist.
• It doesn't move the needle much, but I swapped UG for Aegis in Charged Armor and for Impervium in Static Shield. Those both have a 4.5% T/P bonus for 6 pieces.
• In Weave, switch LotG for Shield Wall for the 4.5% E/N resists (move the LotG +rech to Combat Jumping).
• Drop Physical Perfection or Hover for Power Sink. It's one of the defining powers in the set and even with just the base slot can refill your blue bar from 0 to 100 with 3 targets. 
• Not sure how you're running Focused Accuracy without any endred slotted.

The above changes take your toxic resist from 31% to 48%, your fire/cold resists from 80% to 90% and your neg resist from 64% to 65%.

 

(FYI, EA typically refers to Energy Aura. Electric Armor is usually ELA.)

If you look at their totals, the end usage versus recovery is quite good.

 

Also, As much as I don't suggest using the Power Transfer: Chance to Heal Self for a set with a heal, that and the End Mod is likely more beneficial for your HP bar than the 16 HP bonus you are getting from Efficacy Adaptor. One tick from the proc is multitudes higher than 16 HP.

Just a fyi, even with running everything, her End bar doesn't move. But definitely looking into all of these ideas.
