Just to get Hasten, Soul Extraction and Anguishing Cry closer to perma. Painbringer is slotted pretty hard for recharge. Spiritual would knock 7-10secs off it's downtime as well. The build has a lot of +tohit buffs and accuracy. Between Tactics + World of Pain + Kismet + Vigor Core. Can ease up on the slotting on Tactics. Gaussian's a great set when aiming for positional defense, but not as good for type def. There's a recent Necro/Pain thread and it mentions the Panacea unique has a chance to proc on all targets within it's 15' radius when slotted in Suppress Pain. That includes yourself, pets and team/league mates. I'm a fan of damage procs, it can boost dps by a considerable amount. Shield Breaker and Lady Grey in Grave Knights, Cloud Senses (And Unbreakable Constraint if it can fit) in Soul Extraction, Cloud Senses in Lich. Cloud Senses proc does not work in Zombie Horde at all, will not activate. Can replace it for Edict or CtA unique so that Soul Extraction can get a proc. Xandyr Posted September 18, 2023 Share Posted September 18, 2023 @Groovy_Ghoul, yeah if you'll scroll down a few posts, you'll see where several people, including myself, have commented on Necro/Pain. The Panacea and Numina's proc WILL have a chance to proc on your pets and teammates if they are within range of it. Also, whatever Heal Procs you put in Dark Empowerment will have a chance to proc on whichever pet heals itself. So, when your GKs heal themselves, then that proc can fire on that pet. I believe I put the Miracle:Chance for Regen in DE, along with a pair of Numina's (Heal, Heal/End redux) in it (to increase their HP, and Heal, and to give me the 2 piece set bonus). The Soulbound: Chance For BU proc works GREAT in the GKs. They now have a damage aura, and that will help it Proc. I went ahead and put the Shield Breaker:Chance for damage in them as well. There's several ways you could go. You could build for Max HP, +Regen, +Healing to help out your Heals/Suppress Pain. Don't forget to throw in some recharge to get Soul Extraction, Heals, Painbringer,World of Pain up as often as possible. I've found that when I team, I keep Painbringer on Teammates, but Solo I will throw it on either the Lich or a GK. The Cloud Senses:Chance for Neg Energy Damage works great in the Lich. Be sure to slot the Pet +Resists/Defense IOs as that will help tremendously. Overall, I am pleased with mine. It's a great combination. Majority of the time, defense will be considerably lower than what Mids' indicates. I'm not an expert on builds so apologies if these questions are silly. I prefer Flight as my travel power. Can I swap Hover for Combat Jumping and Flight for Super Speed? I wanted the 5xLoTG but not exclusively mules. Vengeance is great on teams and Stealth is great for solo. I’m not an expert either but it seems like a fun combo for damage and support. A nice change of pace from my usual Stalker or Tanker types. How goes the leveling? I haven’t started yet as I was trying to finalize my build and create a decent costume, which is important! Initial impressions are that the clear speed and durability seems about the same as my Demon/Dark MM. I do notice that I get tagged a LOT with status effects, so that's a concern but I assume it'll improve as I get better enhancements. Currently my powers are slotted with about 30% of the enhancements in the build and the remainder just random IOs I built. I grind until I feel the progress is getting slow then I go work WW to get a few more pieces of the build - repeat. If you only want recharge reduction a simple IO gives you much more. And it provides no set bonuses since it's the only Doctored Wounds slotted. Was this a mistake? The single Doctored Wounds provides only recharge so a recharge IO would be a better choice. I wanted to get Painbringer to perma but I couldn’t decide if the 3rd set bonus in Numinas is better than loss of a few seconds. I will probably go 3 Numinas for HP bonus. Thanks for the feedback!
