Find Contact should also introduce you to whoever your current origin story contact is, just like if you went to (Azuria or whoever) and asked for a new contact.

Not opposed, but if you're following your origin contacts through their stories, aren't they already introducing you to the next contact for your origin when you reach the correct level to get access to them? (Edit: At least in my experience, in the "choose your contact" list from the contact, the presented contacts tell you if they are in your character's origin progression.) (Edit again: And when you reach the correct level, in my experience, they only give you the next contact for the origin. Even becoming active contacts again just to give you the contact.)

If you outlevel a contact (very possible if you do even 1 TF) your old contact may no longer be valid and no "new" contact will appear.  You have to go back to your last completed contact to be introduced to the next one.  It would be nice if Find Contact would just point you to the next step (and would result in some areas finally being used again since they aren't "suggested" by Find Contacts).

I've outleveled my origin (and other) contacts frequently. And the origin ones have always come back flagged as active until they gave me the next contact in the line. Even when I was 10 levels past them so the new contact was also already outleveled.

(Edit: Admittedly, that is just my personal experience, but it is also all I have available to go on.)

"Find Contact" was added during the later days of CoH before the sunset.

It was designed as a funneling mechanism to try to limit contacts so that characters in the same level range were more likely to have the same contact as other in a group or could pull the same contact (not that that helps much if you are on a team and they are already past where you are in an arc.

It was an intentional move away from the Origin arcs.

If you want to do the Origin arcs now, you have to be careful about using double xp and will quite often have to turn off xp in order to complete arcs.

Here's my experience working on the Origin contacts so far.

Once you get up a rung or two on your character's origin contacts, there are 3 different contacts for each level range for your character's origin that will give you the same missions. I have no idea what triggers which new "your origin" contact you get.

Sometimes the new "your origin" contact isn't offered to your character until a level or 2 after you outlevel a contact.

I guess if your contact list a is full, the "your origin" contact won't pop-up again until there is enough from for them to fit in your contact roster.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
