Dormammu Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I don't like having game shortcuts on my desktop or Start menu, so I thought I'd add the Launcher to Steam as a non-Steam game and launch it from there. It seems to work, but I can't get the item in my Steam launcher to retain a name or icon, so it's a weird blank line on my game list. Has anyone encountered this and found a fix for it?
retiarius Posted January 21 Posted January 21 If you right-click the game title in your library list, and then left-click the icon in the resulting flyout window, Steam should give you options for changing the icon. The hero and grid images can be changed from the main library window by right-clicking (and choosing 'Manage' > 'Set custom artwork', and 'Set custom background' respectively).
Dormammu Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 (edited) Yeah, I'm familiar with that process. But for some reason it won't save changes to the name or icon. I can change the banner and grid images, but it keeps reverting to a grey box with no name. EDIT: Google tells me this is a known bug with Steam that occurs intermittently, so perhaps not related to COH at all. Edited January 21 by Dormammu
Riverdusk Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) Yeah, that is strange as it works for me when I did it (but it was a while ago). how mine looks in Steam: Edited January 21 by Riverdusk
