My Opinion on the Mu Lightning Changes.

Recommended Posts

Alright, after extensive testing of my build with the changes, I can say this:

First off, I'm a widow (Fortunata) main. I love my build, and I really don't want to change much of it as I feel like I worked hard to make it. One of my main powers on my rotation is Mu Lightning, for 3 reasons. Reason 1: All other powers other than Telekinetic Blast have the cast time of agony, or are melee which is not the point of my build. Reason 2: Mental Blast, despite the buff, I will still not be picking as it has the projectile velocity of a 900 year old grandmother on a Walmart shopping cart driving down the autobahn. Reason 3: I like to diversify my damage outputs so that if something like robots resists Psy, I can still do damage. I absolutely hate the Mu Lightning recharge increase.

This entire change is an unnecessary nerf to objectively the least damaging move in my rotation for a reason I don't quite understand. I needed to swap around a LOT of enhancements, reduce my overall aoe dps rotation, and slot a +5 base IO recharge enhancement next to APOCALYPSES just to get it to come back fast enough to do less damage than my other moves. I don't use Mu Lightning because it's some god tier ability, I use it because it hits when I want it to, unlike mental blast which takes about 1.2 billion years to hit the target. I don't use Telekinetic Blast because it hits like wet tissue paper, and I don't use Poison Dart because it has a long cast time for an objectively worse move...

I get it, I'm just one person whining on a forum about a change, but I can only give you my personal experience of testing with it, as it's all I got. This has literally gotten me annoyed enough to post on a forum and on the discord, and I don't think I've EVER done that before... And I've played a LOT of games.

Please reverse this. It is silly, it made me sad, and I hate it. Thank you.
