I know new powersets are coming as well as other goodies, and I am excited about it!! These are wishlist items fro me (and many others)...GM GooglyMooglie told me to post them here 🙂 :

1) Storm Blast revamped -- you've already handled it. 🙂

2) Wind Control, the mythical and long rumored powerset...it may be coming, but just thought I'd remention it.

3) Please create a LIGHT-BASED powerset -- there is Dark Melee and Dark Blast; " For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. ", to quote Isaac Newton.  Light Melee and Light Blast would be AWESOME!!! And people have argued that is a Peacebringer, but that is not what I mean.  I mean like Dazzler, or Dagger of "Cloak and Dagger", Green Lanterns, etc etc

4) I was encouraged to mention this one. and I know there are many many fans of such creatures out there -- I should know, iI have 10 of them myself 🐼🐼 -- but my final wish is for a Panda Summoning MM powerset. 😄 People love pandas on this game as well as in real life, and having an army of pandas to do your bidding, either by mauling or bashing with bamboo staffs would be EPIC!!! I'm a dreamer, but I can dream...

I'm totally down for Light-Based powerset

Dark Melee and Dark Blast have their equal and opposite reactions. Dark Melee is opposed by Energy Melee and Dark Blast is opposed by Energy Blast. Radiation Melee and Radiation Blast as alternate energy sets also work, and very much look like what I keep hearing players describe for their light sets when they color them in light colors.

Yea, was fighting against Legacy Chain this evening and was thinking - jeez, that sure is a lot like Energy attacks just recolored differently.  I guess if ever there were to be a set the only real difference would be in mechanics of the Status Effect.  Meaning instead of KB on Energy Blast it may be -Perception or -ToHit Debuff.  Still Energy/Smashing damage for the most part.

 

Unless there's some creative way to differentiate it besides just hueing existing sets and adding a different sound effect, guess not really worth it.

Take Dark Blast and choose No Skull option, then color it in brighter colors. Now you have a light-looking attack that debuffs the target's ToHit. Go Radiation Blast and color it light, and now you have a light looking attack that is an energy attack that debuffs the target's defense. Same thing with melee options.
