Respec advice for a nearly level 50 MA/SR brute

I'm about to ding 50 with my first character (woot!): a MA/SR brute modeled after my favorite D&D character - a Half Orc Monk.

As I've never experienced the post-50 content, I have several questions for the experts as I ponder a respec.

Some context:

I've played exclusively solo and PVE to this point. Going forward, I'm interested in team play, but prefer to stay PVE. My power choices have been very thematic: I've been emphasizing mobility, recovery, recharge and accuracy to best align with my D&D monk premise. My general playstyle is to run in sprint (with stealth) then jump and hit hover to fight midair. This character has been a blast to play!

Current State:

  • soft capped defenses (without storm kick bonus they are between 48-52%
  • high speed (~41 mph for both run and hover), stealth sprint is ~55mph
  • decent resistance (S/L are over 50%, psi is 37%, rest are in the 20s) - numbers at 100% health
  • recharge (without hasten) is 71.25
  • toHit at 87%, accuracy at 1.65x
  • no issues with endurance

Questions:

  1. Any changes to prepare for post level 50 content?
  2. Did I make any major mistakes that should be fixed with a respec (i.e. bad slotting, poor enhancement choices, etc)
  3. I intentionally skipped team powers (since I've been solo), but wonder if replacing Combat Jumping with Maneuvers is necessary to be a good teammate?
  4. Should I swap the 6 slot gaussian from focus chi to focused accuracy?
  5. I dont fully get the damage procs... are the ones on CAK reasonable?
  6. I'm planning on going for the superior versions of the attack sets (are these the best powers for these sets?)
    1. Storm and Cobra upgraded archetype attacks
    2. Crane keeps overwhelming force
    3. CAK to use Hecatomb
    4. Dragon's Tail to use Armageddon

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

If you post the build in mids you’ll likely get more help.

My main on live was ma/sr scrap. I have one now too. I’m just now leveling an ma/sr brute. I can share build when I get home. Haven’t fully decided yet on final build.

There are a few.  Still haven't finalized either.  Not sure where I'm going with ancillary pool.  Keep bouncing around.  Might try out PSI out but kinda wanting to try it on scrap for the snipe.

i run a Battle Axe / Super Reflex Brute and he has no issues and is extremely fun to play i converted it over to Martial Arts take a look it may help you on direction to go. Melee Defence is a little higher than i was going for but was hard to get it to stay closer to the 57% also i don't take Elude i personally don't like the crash on it.
