Kaliselia Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Yes we all dread getting that first Trip to the Hospital since it means that the Bad Guys won. Oh and sooner than later it will happen. Well this morning while playing my Staff Scrapper, Major Freedom it happen. Just got done doing a mission against the Clockwork and sure he was sitting on two Train ups. But there they were just trying to mug someone in the parking lot, a group of Skulls. Sure they were all Yellow, Orange and Red and there were six of them but Major Freedom decided to go in and bust some heads. Instead what happened was him getting taking a double round of buckshot and the next thing he knows he is waking up in the Hospital. I knew I should have pass these guys since they were Yellow and Higher but if you are not willing to take chances why be a Hero.
lunawisp Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 I forgot that on those 'bank robbery' missions, if you run straight to the bank, all the mobs are right inside the door. I went charging in on my low level MM without any pets and faceplanted pretty much instantly...
drakhan2002 Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 You can always change the level at which you are fighting. For those harder missions change your notoriety to "-1" and those reds will be orange, the oranges will become yellow, the yellows...white...etc.
AlBQuirky Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 I'm glad the tutorial was present as I had forgotten A LOT about the game! I even went to the hospital IN the tutorial. It also has me wondering, did I face groups of three oranges before? Is the mission difficulty settings in place and active? I go to the hospital 2 to 3 times for each group of mobs in an indoor mission because NONE of them are white or lower. All are yellow to orange. I have wracked up so much debt already and I'm only 4th level. I have to admit that this is not much fun... It must be me because I see no one else complaining ;) - Al You are a Hero!

You might want to check you difficulty settings, though if you haven't visited the hero corps rep who adjusts them they should be set to same level. Also, you've wracked up no debt. You can't get debt until level 10.

I'm out.

I suppose I really should start clicking everything as I've even had to be reminded of features we had back in the day from reading someone mention something in a post here.

chigiabelo Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 LoL. A lot of my characters spend time visiting the hospital even though I usually play at the lower settings because I solo only these days. Ten years ago, though, i had a bots MM that made it all the way to level 31 without a single defeat before finally getting whacked because I was playing with just my left hand and eating dinner with my right.
Roughtrade Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 If you are not face-planting and making a rez run as a group from a TPK at least once a day, you have your mission level set too low. Nothing wrong really, sometimes I prefer to glide along in easy mode myself. But this game has such a negligible penalty for losing a fight, I really like taking on just as much as I can and taking the risk of tripping to the hospital. If you do not face plant at least once a day; Go reset your Notoriety.
