Looking for a simple Invul/Dark melee tanker build

I recently returned to the game and trying to help a friend I brought with me ease into the game, but he gets bad choice paralysis yet also super picky lol so I was to find a good and very very simple and durable build for him and was hoping people had some suggestions that are:
a) easy on him to make and get everything needed as a new player I'm helping
b) not very complicated and preferably few buttons 
c) would last them until at least fresh 40-50 or so. So doesn't need to be end game and incarnate stuff I figured by then he will have figured out enough to fly on his own.

This is an older build, by @Heraclea (God rest their soul), IIRC.  Should be a solid/simple foundation, but there are alot of tricks that have been realized in the last couple of years that your buddy will find while leveling and poking around the forums.

I once made a sample invuln tanker base with no purples or winter IO's (very few enhancements more than 5m apiece, in fact), that can be customized with your choice of epic or pool powers, and has about 40% def to all with 1 foe in range and 70% res to all with 1 stack of might of the tanker proc. It's for StJ, but you should be able to easily modify it to work with /dark.
