Returning Player and Zone Events

I was amazed to find out a few weeks ago that this was live again and free (donations important of course).  I managed to have started playing again just as the April fools Map Server Events were running and what a blast!!  Minus the lag and such of course.  Hopefully the event showed how much horsepower the servers might need to expand a bit to handle in the future..right?

 

Anyways, the main point here was the Zone Events are fun and currently the regular zone events seem few and far between.  I personally don't like to solo much in terms of mission story/arcs etc.  I like playing the short to medium time group content TFs, Missions, etc and find myself sitting around waiting for zone events to pop using w/e character of the hour I want to play, level up, etc....and......getting bored by the day.

 

I am not saying events like map server run 24/7 to rain down that massive xp, loot and inf...just that perhaps at the least...the usual zone event timers can be shortened or events doubled to encourage more randoms to join up in teams and leagues to fight and have fun?

Zone events that are not on any sort of timer are Nemesis, RIkti, and Zombie invasions.  Those are setoff by

Nemesis by finishing the last mission from SSA Pandora's Box

Rikti by finishing the Lady Grey TF

Zombies by finishing Katie Hannon TF

 

Some GMs can be triggered.

 

Depending on which server you are on, there are channels for setting up TFs, trials, etc...
