Looking for Feedback - Bio Armor/Spines

Hey all,

 

This is my first shot at a tank since live. I haven't played Bio Armor much yet, but figured it would benefit from generally well-rounded Def/Res/HP with the Regen being the icing on the cake. The primary goal of this build is survivability and keeping aggro. I would like think to be as durable as possible, so cost is not a concern.

 

Looking forward to some constructive criticism and any ideas as to the best place to put this last slot.

IMHO I think you are going to run into endurance issues in a sustained attack, like fast moving teams and AVs.  Especially if you ever turn focused accuracy on, that will turn you into a taunt-bot and not much more. 

 

Personally for me in my Bio/Spines experience (my 1st 50 and incarnate) recharge is really important since your click shields and heals are your lifeline. 

 

Also why more tanks don't have Darkest Night is a mystery.  I can Solo-tank STF Recluse with just inspirations.

I greatly appreciate the feedback and a build for reference. I was really going off nothing, so any direction is valuable.

 

What does your attack chain look like? Something like Ripper>Throw Spines>Gloom?

 

Definitely liking a lot of what you do with your build, perma-hasten is always nice and the Psi def/res would probably come in handy. Soul Mastery also seems like a solid choice, Gloom seems to have pretty solid damage and Darkest Night seems well-suited for survivability. Any reason you didn't use the Panacea +HP/END in Inexhaustible instead of the End/Rech?

Agree about the endurance issues. Bio is a great set endurance wise, but you'll want to 3 slot Stamina with EndMod and Inexhaustible with 3 EndMod.

 

That makes you pretty much bullet proof endurance wise.

 

I run a Scrapper version of this build and can chain all day long with that basic setup.

Yeah, attack chain goes something like that, Gloom is good to lead with too for the -to hit, also has good DPA

 

Darkest Night is solid, and underrated, I have solo-tanked Lord Recluse on STF, with just that and some inspirations.

 

Oh and the Panacea, was just an error, swap the End/Rech for the +HP/End
