Most minimal settings for Shadow Fall graphics?

I dislike character-obscuring powers, kind of a lot. But I also love character concepts that happen to really want to make use of Dark Miasma and such. Does anyone have advice on appearance tweaks that will make Shadow Fall as un-obscuring as possible?
