Should I craft a 2nd Alpha? [Dark/Dark]

I was playing my Dark/Dark/Fire yesterday (fully T4, vet lvl 61) when I noticed I had 4 Notices and 27 shards. Normally I convert these to threads, but I guess I wasn't paying attention and let a bunch accumulate. Would there be any value in crafting a 2nd Alpha? Currently have Musculature Radial.

Swapping to Intuition Radial would give you +33% Hold, +33% SlowMovement and +20% Range in exchange for -33% ImmobiliseDuration, -33% EnduranceModification and -33% RunningSpeed. PermaDoms generally don't need as much Recovery and losing some RunningSpeed isn't very gamebreaking; so it'll come down to if you value longer immobilises over longer holds + blasting things from greater distances...? (the +SlowMovement is likely irrelevant!)

Intuition Radial Paragon is the go to Alpha for the majority of Dominator builds.  It's what I have on all my Dominators after I swapped the 2 I tried Musculature Radial on.

 

It also gives a damage boost, on top of the other stuff Maelwys listed.

I agree 100% I have both on my Dark Dark, I originally was Musculature, but switched over to intuition..   I used musculature for the end mod help while I was trying to get ageless finished, then switched over to intuition after I was T4 on all the other incarnates.

You'll have plenty of mats if you continue to play that character, so might as well try out some different Alpha abilities.  I'd only tell you to hold off if you haven't unlocked all the other slots yet, (I typically try for R3 on all before going to R4)...

I'm T4 on all slots (plus a second T4 Interface) and have plenty of materials for the other slots if/when I decide to craft additional components. I just happened to accumulate a bunch of shards and notices and was curious what folks thought before I converted them to threads.
