Snokle Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Hey all, So after benching this toon for a bit after hitting 50, as I felt it was alright I went back to the drawing board, and looked up some other notes and ideas from other peeps around that had some experience with the Storm powerset. With the the new found knowledge I have this build currently going. I am pretty happy with it, but always checking if there is some minor tweaks I can do that I might of missed. One thing I will say for this, is I did opt not to take hasten for this build as a choice, as I was running it earlier in the build but I found I was just sucking my blue bar way too much. I find right now, I am able to get pretty smoothly two tornadoes, and usually two to three lightning storms at a time. Defender (Storm Summoning - Water Blast).mbd Psicy Chill - Ice/Psi/Psi | Sive Ni Brielan - Plant/Earth/Fire | Elemental Elder Lord - Earth/Fire/Fire | Selinia Baneheart - Dark/Therm/Fire | Mylia Stenetch - Necro/Dark/Soul | Radiated Shot - Rad/Arch/Mace | Nameless Witch - Storm/Water/Mu | Phantom Racer - Fire/Cold/Scorp | Neera Darkspar - Beam/Temp/Soul | Neera Etra - Dark/SR | Shieldbreaker - Elec/Shield/Mu | Frozen Tombstress Ice/Rad/Ice | Subliminal Darkness - Psi/Dark/Psi | Mirana Darkblade - Katana/Regen/Soul | Máistir Fiach - SoA Huntmaster | Night Reaver - SoA Widow | Sweet Senpai - SoA Bane
Uun Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Freezing Rain isn't worth slotting for damage. Probably not the best place for the +absorb proc either. I usually slot 2x recharge IOs or 3-4 pieces of a defense debuff set. Not sure what you're trying to do with Arcane Bolt but there are better options for 3 slots than a set that caps at lvl 20. Tornado is over-slotted for damage. You could replace one of the D-Syncs with a recharge IO and not lose any damage. Water Jet needs more accuracy. I would drop Aqua Bolt for Dehydrate. It has superior DPA plus provides a heal. The slots in Web Envelope could be deployed better elsewhere. Uuniverse
Psylenz0511 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 For some reason, I cannot launch the latest Mids hero builder on my machine, I guess I need a Windows 11 machine now 😞 One thing to look for to increase your recharge rate reduction is the force feedback proc for -recharge. You can put one in water burst, gale, lightning storm, etc and the proc will cut into your recharge time on tornado and lightning storm. You should be able to have 3 tornadoes running, and 3 lightning storms at a time for a short duration. My co-main is Storm/water and I love it to death.
rksr9997 Posted Tuesday at 07:56 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:56 PM I did not think you could have multiple tornados. I thought once you re-cast it the first tornado was removed and it just made another one. I am shocked. Shocked, I tell you.
