TheMoneyMaker Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Can we get the NPCs in Pocket D to be a little more than set dressing? Like maybe add some dialogue when you click on them like random people in the streets of the city? Doesn't have to be meaningful or anything, even just "Don't bother me" or "Do I look like I care?" rather than just standing there looking like they are talking to someone else but never having anything to say unless it's the Desperate Guy and Turndown Girl. 1 1
Sakura Tenshi Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I'd be down for this, could make a bit of a contest with random dialogue ideas. While it'd be too spoilery for later content, I did imagine once the idea of a Rikti traditionalist in Pocket D doing a dance and declaring "A little dance: doing. A little love: making. Tonight: GETTING DOWN!" 2 1
TheMoneyMaker Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 I'd love to hear them cutting loose and venting about their daily lives. Civilian dancer: "I so needed this after the day I had. The bank I work at got robbed, AND they blew up my car. That's what I get for parking on the street." Council raver: "They had me sweep the whole base. It's in a cave! There's literally dirt falling from the walls and ceiling!" Longbow: "You see that earlier? I think War Witch was checking me out." Bartender: "Say, aren't you (character name)? I heard about you on the news earlier... [reference recent completed mission]." 1
Sakura Tenshi Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Idea for an Arachnos raver, specifically a fortunata or widow one. "Do they have ANY idea how hard it is to navigate our bases in heels when the floor is made of Chicken Wire?!" 2
TheMoneyMaker Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 Reference the vomit guy. "Hey, did you hear that the vomit guy was in the hospital for weeks after they dragged him out of here? Did he drink too much or did someone poison him?" 1

My Widow has in her background that most of her marks in training were subpar, but they passed her because she excelled at running and jumping in 6” heels. 1 1
