Gaymer Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Plant/Kin was my favorite to play back on live, but i never had a build for, but I would really like a build for this. So when it comes to and Epic power can some one explain on how to choose one? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. 😁
Light Petting Posted March 14 Posted March 14 This is an expensive build but you can take the power picks and slotting and run on SOs just fine. I run CoH on a mac (ironically, to reduce the amount of time I spend gaming ... that went well) so this is the best I could get from game (mids is bust for me). I'm sure other people will chime in with different opinions. This isn't my main, it isn't even my main controller. But it's a LOT of fun. Absolutely shreds on team. Or solo for that matter. Seeds + FS + Carrion = very safe Get Seeds slotted ASAP and if you can swing the cost of Malaise's Illusions while levelling, you're laughing. Even on SOs it's going to be great. Cupid's crush I'm just trying out - you'll be able to run SBB and convert to get this and that +RECH from level 10 is very nice to have. Most (90% easily) of this came from other posts and was cobbled together by me. The reason for some of the early powers: Siphon Power/Hasten/Siphon Speed. - this is to give any team you're on at low levels/exemped a decent damage bump. A lot of the slotting (speed boost/transference) is more about getting the def numbers up than how the power works in play. Numina has no +Acc, so I need to make that up elsewhere. The build works fine with the Touch of the nictus accurate healing set in. (or 2 acc, 3 heal, 1 rech for SOs..) ... Incarnates: I went with Vigor Radial (Healing, Accuracy AND confuse duration) Hybrid I'd probably go control core (although the assault double hit is probably better) Interface: Degenerative/Radial Lore: I like BP radial for the debuff Destiny: Barrier Core See below: I think carnifex's posts probably influenced this build the most. Light Petting Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) Addendum: Epic pool: I'm a huge fan of Psi on any controller that doesn't get status protection elsewhere. It's also contains a LOTG mule spot. World of confusion was literally a "I feel like taking this" pick. You probably want to put the Purple confuse set in Seeds as well, if you want to go all out. Edited March 14 by Light Petting forgot purple set 1
Black_Assassin Posted March 14 Posted March 14 18 minutes ago, Light Petting said: I would ignore this thread tbh, the original poster has picked plant and then ignored 2 out of the 3 core powers of the set. The other thread is great though as it shows correct way to slot creepers. Below is my take on it: Notes: Vigor Core: Was going to go musculature, but slotting and power choices meant low accuracy, so vigor fixes that Earth Mastery: You will be at the damage cap due to FS, so having access to powers that you can heavily proc allows you to take the most advantage of FS. (you could even drop the acc/dam HamiO in fissure for an -res proc) Controller (Plant Control - Kinetics).mbd 1 @Black Assassin - Torchbearer

I learned more from them than the original poster, I should have made that clear 😜 1 1

Was thinking it could go in the creepers slotting in place of the boosted Rag: Damage. Would lose some damage obvs, but gain the confuse proc that will stack nicely with seeds. 1 @Black Assassin - Torchbearer

Me: You are the mos infrequent proc I have ever seen fire! It: But you have seen me fire? Great concept (which is why I used it) but in reality, probably not worth it. A whole lot cheaper than the apocalypse set I think I'd replace it with and 8.75 is so rare .. useful from 10 on up as well. I'd probably replace it with apocalypse if i were to play this regularly (see also: Purple confuse set). I really wouldn't touch the creepers slotting (where I think we are in complete agreement) as that performs crazily good as is. 1 1
Black_Assassin Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I had already thought "I am never going to use that set" when it was introduced, well I shall stick to my gut reactions then 😛 2 @Black Assassin - Torchbearer

I realise I didn't slot any accuracy into creepers, so I would suggest swapping the rag dam +5 with the dam/rech/acc +5 in roots. @Black Assassin - Torchbearer
