Iceman73 Posted Monday at 05:33 PM Posted Monday at 05:33 PM Hey, have rolled a ice/spines tank to 50, now looking at the build to improve survivability. Have come up with a build, see attached. Just looking for some pointers to make it a little tighter. Thanks
Spaghetti Betty Posted Monday at 07:27 PM Posted Monday at 07:27 PM So, just from a quick glance, I have a feeling you spend a lot of time standing around! I understand we're running Ice Armor, but that doesn't mean you should move through combat as fast as a glacier! I really don't have the attention span to nit and pick over every single change I would make to your build. Sorry! But I can tell you that you're focusing way too hard on armor numbers, and it's really dampening the overall performance of your toon! By like, a lot! Instead, have a look at this! I quickly whipped up a no-expenses-spared, very active build that trades a lot of the unnecessary DEF for a lot of boom and pow! Prickly Pear Lager - Tanker (Ice Armor - Spines).mbd Since Ice Armor takes care of Slow RES all on it's own, I like to go ahead and use some of the free slotting to empty my bank account on Hamis! This means every single attack is hitting it's maximum damage potential. As for my RES numbers, they all get pretty close to cap with Rune and 2 ATO1 procs. When Rune is down, you can toggle Melee Core for the roughly the same RES bonus! Mainly on Excelsior. Find me in game @Spaghetti Betty. Warshades Posted yesterday at 12:21 AM Posted yesterday at 12:21 AM If you want to turtle up with ice, I would suggest going for resist bonuses. I wouldn't really play this as is, it chases for some specific powers/slotting for set bonuses (i.e. the /ice epic slotting), but it should be damn tough to bring down. Let energy absorption take care of stacking +def, it's what it's there for (other than fixing any endurance problems). This build essentially ignores building towards/considering offense to chase resists. Tanker (Ice Armor - Spines).mbd
hakurr Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago here is another take i used some of Spaghetti Betty ideas and pulled a little more damage out may not hit 90 on your resists but will be close and i don't like flight never have been able to control it all that well i always end up flying up when i don't want to. anyway this is just another option.
