[GM Crumpet]

I'm one of those people who think most events go on too long. I personally (player not GM) think things like Halloween, Winter and Spring should only be two weeks and not a full month. I loved the Mapserver, and judging from the popularity so did many other players, and 2 weeks was plenty. Many people have work or school so having two full weekends allowed them to take part properly. Shorter and they might not have had much chance to take part, longer and the complaining gets exponentially louder. Excel was always going to suffer as it is the most populated server. I stayed until the population went over 500 them moved to Reunion or Everlasting. Over the weekend it was more than 1K players on Excel alone.

THIS makes so much sense to me. In my experience during the event, the worst lag was in the PI Portal Corps parking lot, and I don't know if moving the spawn points to the beach area there would help, or if it is just PI in general. (I also wondered about the 'motel' spot that people use during the Halloween event.)

I so enjoyed the MS event!
