Graysworn Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Just finished playing through this one. On the last mission, "A nearby portal opens" or something like that appeared as a pop-up towards the very end. I found the portal--it was the only one not on fire--but it looked like it was missing the portal animation? Not sure if that was just a me thing. 1
TalKaline Posted May 30 Posted May 30 (edited) Running through this, and I have to ask; the Words of the Warrior are such an on-point parody. (Any similarity to actual persons, living, dead, or red and bankrupt in Texas, is purely coincidental.) But I have to ask for balancing purposes; what kind of Psychic Damage Resistance% and Defense% were you stacking on yourself to listen to enough of his content to make the parody? EDIT: As I continue to run through the arc, it's purely an aesthetic thing, but I'd prefer it if I could have a less aggressive dialogue option when talking to Frostfire and getting more details out of him. "I'll ask the questions. What are you doing here?" comes off as an interrogation, like I don't fully trust him and regard him as a potential threat and criminal. And while that is a perfectly understandable reaction for plenty of characters to have, a more friendly option where your character asks him what's going on that leads to the exact same dialogue might be good; I missed the extra detail, which I loved, the first time, because I didn't want to be rude to him. EDIT 2: Like Graysworn, the last portal was missing the portal animation for me. Not sure if that was intentional. Edited May 30 by TalKaline Added additional feedback. 1 1

I helped out with it somewhat and thankfully most of the quotes I helped with were picked up via internet osmosis rather than direct observation. 2 HAPPY PRIDE MONTH Storyline/content developer Creator of: Your favorite mission arcs with far too many dialog trees (Bobby Curtin, Shauna Braun, Dr. Stribbling, Erin West, Robert Kogan) Formerly Holymittens
Developer Headhunter Posted Friday at 04:10 PM Developer Posted Friday at 04:10 PM Yes, fortunately there's a lot of people making fun of these kinds of broadcasts so finding examples wasn't too painful. 1
PBiz Posted Saturday at 02:46 AM Posted Saturday at 02:46 AM Just wrapped this one. Overall, I enjoyed it but it feels kind of incomplete in terms of story. I would've like to wrap and conclude this one, but the ending is a little too open ended for my liking, especially with nowhere left to continue it. I assume this will be in the next round of arcs, maybe? I enjoy where the Warriors arc goes, and I think it's a good degree of progression for the group. Interesting maps as well (give us the Forge map as an AE map pls). I'd say there's a string of missions that are all more or less fetch missions where you go back and forth between long distances that felt like Issue 0 arcs in a bad way, and I think if it were possible, it would be better without the backtracking to the contact. I'd also like to echo that I also didn't get the last portal in the last mission. It just didn't glow, but that was really the only issue I found.
K26dp Posted yesterday at 04:38 AM Posted yesterday at 04:38 AM Some of Alexander's text seemed too informal, especially based on the old Alexander the Great arc and that he is now a politician. I would expect a little more polish from him. Also there's some repetition in his opening couple of text blocks that could probably be edited down. That said, the Words of the Warrior broadcast was spot on, and it completely fits that the Warriors would become marks for that kind of grift.
