Mulligan Posted Tuesday at 01:41 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:41 AM You could fix 90% of the mistells in this game if you would NOT change the target of the tell just because someone sent me a tell when I was in the middle of a chat with someone else. It should be that only me changing the tell target changes it. Not for the first time, I had to copy and resend multiple tells (long after I thought they had gone to the right person) because of this crap. So, seriously, change it so that the tell target is the last person to whom I sent a tell, not the last person to send me a tell, and don't change it until I send a new tell to someone.
City Council Michiyo Posted Tuesday at 04:09 PM City Council Posted Tuesday at 04:09 PM /bind backspace tell_last https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Tell_last_(Slash_Command) Sadly it doesn't work with global tells, but the above bind will change the default behavior to send a tell to the last person you sent a tell to. BlackSpectre Posted Tuesday at 06:09 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:09 PM Just to add onto what @Michiyo said, for its behavior to be more like the /autoreply command that is bound to the Backspace key by default, your bind would need to look like this: /bind backspace "beginchat /tl, " This will start a chat message with the /tell_last command already in the chat box so that all you'd need to do is type in your message and press enter. City Council Michiyo Posted Tuesday at 06:10 PM City Council Posted Tuesday at 06:10 PM Yeah, thanks... Forgot it doesn't actually just fill it like autoreply does. BlackSpectre Posted Tuesday at 06:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:13 PM I wish it did. For that matter, I wish it would work with global names too. I figure all that would need to be done is to copy the needed code straight from the /autoreply command.
