The people who make Mids will bring out an up to date version once it's set in stone. At the moment it's in flux as it's still in beta so todays update is tomorrows out of date information. The mids team are not part of Homecoming and do it out of love for the game and community. They aren't devs with instant access to the back end.

As I'm part of the shady cabal I can neither confirm not deny your hypothesis. Though I am interested in trying the secret society cheese sauce. Sounds yummy!!

if you know what you are doing, you can get updated files through github. I did grab their latest one to look at a couple of things, but ultimately i'd wait for the official build.
