Forum look and feel changed unexpectedly

The background for the forum page seems to have changed - previously it matched the forum colours now it's simply black.

 

This is a purely aesthetic change but it's annoying and I cannot see anywhere to change my forum appearance preferences.

 

Is this a bug and where should I look to change my forum prefs?

Clear your web browser's cache.  If that doesn't help, which web browser and version?

It seems to have fixed itself automagically when I logged in this evening.

I'd bet it was a case of there being a fault when the background image was being transferred to your computer, so it had an error and automatically renderd as all black, and when you tried again this morning, the cache had expired, so it reloaded from the server.
