I just finished a DFB where we apparently failed the badge, but the reason we failed is really my question.

The team lead said it was the Rad Corr fault we failed it because he used Radiation Infection on the boss.

I didn't think that was true, so obviously a small debate started.

Does anyone know for sure? And if this is the case, what other debuffs will fail it?

The description of the badge says, "You took out the mad Vahzilok doctor in the sewers beneath Paragon without killing any of of the Cadavers it was controlling"

If a non damaging debuff alone failed it, that'd be a clear bug.   Something a log capture would be good to save and submit.

A common culprit if no one did it directly is one of them being caught by an exploding barrel.

Usually easy enough to tell via the logs if saved and if you just see a tick of the XP without a cause, it was probably a cadaver wandering into the hall and being close to a bomb as Riverdusk says.

there are a bunch of ways to fail that badge:

1) someone uses a cone (sands of mu) or an AOE (like a PBAOE toggle such as blazing aura) and accidentally kills a zombie.

2) an exploding barrel

3) someone goes in an starts killing indiscriminately

4) i have accidentally confused the AV and the AV went on a zombie killing rampage

5) necro MMs spawn uncontrollable spectres with their attack powers which will kill zombies

6) someone is deliberately spoiling the badge in secret and not owning up to it

it's usually easy to figure out what went wrong reading the combat log.

typicaly at least on of those badges fails every trial. i have even seen the prophet one fail because some maxxed out brute went straight for the AV and killed it before the others.
