Can you make a room smaller if it has a bunch of stuff already in it?

I have a room that has several salvage racks in it, an enhancement table, an insp holder and a crafting table.  It's way bigger than it needs to be.

 

Can I reduce the size of the room and still keep all that other stuff in it?

You can fill in the room's emptier areas with walls.

 

Or you can move all the stuff out of the room, recreate the room, and then move the stuff back.

 

But no, you cannot just change the size of the room.

This is where Multiple Select would come in handy. And a select all option.
