laudwic Posted Friday at 01:22 PM Posted Friday at 01:22 PM I've just started running a Pyro/Marine Controller. I'm only up to 24, (most of my levels were DFB and Posi 1 & 2 now soloing) and I've noticed a few times using Tidal Pool then Glittering Column and then Whitecap I would see enemies fly away far further than I've ever seen. We're not talking a decent distance away, we're talking far away. A full use of superleap away. A few times they flew well out of range of powers and I would need to go looking for them. (ouside map) I've run a defender who does Tidal Pool then Whitecap all the time, and that just sends them to the ground. Adding Glittering Column (and Controller vs. Defender) is the main difference. Is there sometimes a super blast off or if I time everything right does the knockback magnitude become cumulative?
BZRKR Posted Friday at 01:42 PM Posted Friday at 01:42 PM Oh my gosh I hope so!? I know that there will be several Pyro/ Controllers on the Task Forces my friends and I run tonight, so we'll see.
Psyonico Posted Friday at 02:57 PM Posted Friday at 02:57 PM I believe glittering column is mag 20 knock up, which is pretty high. Knock stacks like any other mag, so the knockdown in whitecap and tide pool will add to that, admittedly not very much. What this team needs is more Defenders
dukedukes Posted Friday at 04:10 PM Posted Friday at 04:10 PM I don't know how those powers interact but I've seen this with repel effects. I posted a bug here about it:
laudwic Posted Friday at 04:47 PM Author Posted Friday at 04:47 PM I'm also throwing in Shoal Rush right before I do Whitecap. That may be interacting too.
