Feedback on the Visuals for Psi Armour and Pyro Control.

They look amazeballs. That's it! Great job to whoever designed the effects!

 

Also..the Effects for Mystic Fortune kinda remind me of some of the Pyro ones (or vice versa). Were the asses borrowed at all? Just curious.

 

Also also..Force FIeld bubbles. I saw one today with a more 'techy' hexagon effect, rather than the normal swirly one. Am I going mad, or has that option been around awhile?

So I love almost everything.  I tested a lot of it on Brainstorm and my only complaints then about visuals were that Pyro wasn't sparkly enough.

 

That said when I built and tested, I did not include Catherine Wheel.

 

You have to tone Catherine Wheel down a bit and shrink the circle by half.  Just one, is constantly obscuring your sight. and I was on a team with three pyros, all had them out and it was blinding; regular play eyesight not sensitivity to light or seizure induction, just blinding distraction.  Portals dropped cant see, enemies cant see, might as well have me in blinded status.

 

I am not saying wreck the visuals.  But think about singularity, not as large, not as bright, not as distracting.  Just put sparkles on it or just shrink it.  I mean it doesnt have to be damn near invisible like reverberant is, but please think about it, wont you.

I did notice something last night when I ran my Psi Armor around past some other Psi Armor I got some odd lag with a really disorienting effect.   I'll have to check it more thoroughly, but it gave me symptoms like a pre-migraine.   Just wondering if anyone else ran into this.  Default power effects and I think the two others I was close to were the same.
