I grabbed every power from both trees besides Sparkling Cage and White cap.  I want to fully ENCH this toon out for a team friendly build but i dont know which way to go.  Marine has some pretty good debuffs and buffs it seems.  I have been keeping up the rotation of debuffs when grouping and it really feels like i have time to DPS with 3-4 powers at the most.  Is there anyone that has the same experience as me or could point me in the right direction.  Thank you all in advance

I haven’t played this combo, but I have played a fair amount of Marine… I wouldn’t skip White Cap.  It does a decent amount of -resist, apparently procs well, and triggers Frenzy in your Tide Pool.

i think the best way to start every encounter with this combo would be Tide Pool->Glittering Column->White Cap.

If you’re teaming, a controller is generally not hitting many attacks for DPS, you’re (de)buffing and dropping controls to keep the rest of the team safe.

I’ve been playing a Pyro/Poison and it is probably just as busy as Pyro/Marine sounds.  I just finished up a Synapse and for the most part I was getting out Glittering Column, Brilliant Barrage, my debuffs, then just helping mop up the few enemies that were left.

Thank you for the reply.  Do you find the double missile PBAOE usefull and did you slot the single hold with all chance to hit ENH?

I’m assuming by double missile, you mean Brilliant Barage.  Yes I’ve taken it on all my Pyro toons so far, it’s not a PBAoE though, the stun is centered around whatever event you have targeted and the fear is centered around the ground location that you pick.  I consider it a very valuable pick.

As for the AoE hold, 2x Accuracy SOs (or level 30 common IOs) is what I have slotted now, because it does have an accuracy penalty, as long as you’ve got several set bonuses that provide +accuracy, that should be enough even in high end.

This is how I've done my Pyro/Marine who is 49.5 currently as I type this.

Sparkling Case and Dazzle for single target damage as I'm mostly soloing.  Both initiate containment and I need a source of damage.

Skipped Sparling Chain - I have enough other crowd control, and not a fan of Immobilize

Glittering Column - Great power.  I slotted this for accuracy debuff.  This power recharges faster than you think.  If your in a big crazy fight, drop it again.  It tanks, it clumps enemies, gives some damage, and then debuffs acc.

Hypnotizing Lights - use almost every combat and I put in a Controller set (the one with the Light proc)  It is an auto hit power that starts containment

Brilliant Barrage - The other controller set.  (I like having these for the bonuses, you can add a ton of procs instead)  Your essentially targeting two AoE.  I use it as my secondary mass control.  Mainly to lock down large areas when I have extra groups of enemies join the fun.

Incendiary Aura - I use it and slot it for accuracy debuff

Explosive Bouquet - I have it, I mainly use it to hit bosses after Dazzle for an immediate hold.  Its a good power, but I didn't slot it much as I use the other AoE holds more.

Catherine Wheel - Great pet, second in my mind to Singularity (I watch Singularity solo an Elite Boss, it will always be #1 to me)  Slot it with the Valentines Universal Damage set.  Trust me. You will be amazed at the number of confused and 'in love' enemies you'll see.

 Marine Affinity:

Shoal Rush - You have to take this or Soothing Wave, you can add procs to this and it is -Speed and -Def.

Soothing Way - I skipped it - I have green inspirations

Toroidal Bubble - great power end bonus and resistance for you and your team.

White Cap - Great proc bomb - do not skip this power.  It's soft control with knockdown and -Res is very helpful.

Tidal Pool: your non-aggro generating slow/power boaster you should be dropping every combat.

Brine - Ok, this is a great damaging power, as it is -Resist and -Max Health.  Use it as a first attack where it is going to be the best damaging power you have.  If you have -300 max hit points, if they are not damaged their hit points are still reduced by 300.  Once it is slotted, it will one shot minions, nearly one shot lt, and help with everything else.   Just because you don't see the damage numbers doesn't mean this power isn't great.

Shifting Tides: Put on your pet for a damage and recharge bonus.  It will effect you too as your pet will fight close to you enough to get benefit to you.

Barrier Reef: Great power to give you Absorption points, super bonus hit points to you and your friends.  Take this.

Power of the Depths: great power, I don't use it enough.  Can be made permanent.

 Power Pools:

Sorcery:

Arcane Bolt: great damaging power, will help you solo (sometimes it does x2 damage without containment, and sometimes x3 with containment)

Mystic Flight: I like to have a travel if I can work it in, you can skip this

Enflame: I enjoy this as an extra damaging power on my pet or an enemy.  Remember, Glittering Column brings things together and recharges quickly.

Speed: I didn't take hasten and don't feel I need it

Fighting: I took it, but may respec

Epic Fire Mastery: For Fireball only

What I find I do solo is:

I already have my pet Barrier Reef and the wheel as well as Bubble.  Shifting tides is on the Wheel.  When I see a group I drop Tide pool then glittering column (some times I reverse it as tide pool is a slow, I do column first if I want to group them more)  then shoal rush (with Proc Damage), Hypnotising Lights (everything that isn't a boss or up is now held), Fireball (AoE damage with containment bonus) White Cap (More Proc Damage) then I just clean the rest up with Arcane Bolt and Sparkling and Dazzle.

I've generally been soloing 0/x3 or x4 depending on the enemy group.  That is not pulling, but jumping into the middle of enemy groups and fighting.  I could do higher comfortably, but with larger enemy group sizes, sometimes you get adds and I like a more relaxed playstyle.
