Didnt realize they NEUTERED the duration of Seeds of Confusion.  Was ok with a longer recharge based on number of people, not ok with a 8 second baseline confuse lol.

The overpower for extra magnitude is 8 seconds. The base Confuse duration is 15 seconds. If you are slotting it for Confuse (and why wouldn't you now?) its about ~30 seconds.  Most fights are over before that plus now you have Spirit Tree as a AoE CC as well so you are no longer 100% reliant on Seeds.

Patch notes were pretty clear and the change was on the beta server for 3 weeks before it went live. You should be happy that they reverted the target cap reduction.

  • Scale reduced from scale 20 to scale 8.
  • Endurance cost lowered from to 15.6 to 8.528
  • This power now has Adaptive Recharge. It has a base recharge of 6 seconds, and each affected foe will increase the recharge by 6.5 seconds for a maximum total of 110 seconds.

It is, as someone pointed out to me, basically the same base duration as the other mid-tier hard controls from other sets.  Stuff like Stalagmites, Confounding Chant, Synaptic Overload, or Heart of Darkness, all last about as long as Seeds does now.  Honestly, this seems relatively like parity, to me.  And its Recharge, even when at the max that the Adaptive Recharge gives it, is still slightly less than many of those comparable powers.  It's honestly a pretty fair change, better than a lot of the alternative, and rather than what the far-more-gutted versions of the power looked like, this pretty much puts it in parity, which is what sets should generally kinda strive for.
