Psi/Ice or Psi/Stone Slow tank

Has anyone built a slow tank?  I was looking over Psi Melee and wondered if I took advantage of the -foe recharge and stacked on the slows from one of the slow auras, would I just make everything crawl while they're being abused by my team? 

 

It's just a thought that amuses me.

Stone Armor does not have any -recharge.  Mud Pots only does -movement speed.

That said the best slow tank money can buy is going to be an Ice/Spines tank. They are awesome and I have one with /soul for darkest night to stack -damage with chilling embrace well adding tohitdebuff with my defense and it adds as a secondary taunt.

 

Mine happens to be a teleporter that worked in fold space to maximize density saturation for energy absorption, but bringing everyone in close helps them get caught in icicles/quills/chilling embrace/darkest night and I just laugh at their hopelessness.

I'd post my Ice/Spines but it's horribly outdated because I almost never play him (I just have too many alts).  Great combo though.

ok.  Why would you not publicly release build?  You don't want others to have what you have?

That's not it at all. I prefer to help people get better at understanding how to use mids to make their own builds.

 

You're welcome to take a stab at making the build yourself and send it to me in messages and I can give you feedback to help try to steer you to more slot efficiency or how to hit various build benchmarks you're looking for.

 

But just giving someone a build for them to copy doesn't teach them how to actually build a character themselves.

And you don't feel like you are reading a bit much into your "role" here.  Some of us just want to have and enjoy the game the way we want.  Granted its your prerogative to NOT give out the thing.  But it seems like a giant overreach of arrogance to think its your job to teach everyone something.  Can you not see this?  So someday if you feel like its your job to teach people WHAT AT to play?  How to use the powers "best".  Heck ....it might be your job to teach us WHAT game to play.  What if I/we learn best by picking apart the original material?  You don't TEACH someone math by saying "just put numbers on the page, Ill tell you were you went wrong."  It sounds to me like you are just trying to justify your decisions and behaviors by "elevating" yourself to revered mentor status.  Personally, I help others frequently any way I can and any way the ask because it helps us both enjoy the game.  You however...well....

You might get a bit more respect to just say "I prefer not to share builds because I don't want others to have builds as good as mine".   As for the build, no thanks.  If I really need it....there are plenty of players willing to share.
